Building a new shop. Clearing land. Simple, right?
I suppose most people clear land and just get rid of the trees and branches, or the contractor just hauls all that stuff away, or throws it through a mulcher.
NOT ME!
Every tree and branch, every curve, knot, and all the cool characters of wood, is something that is truly unique.
I see things to make, future projects, slices, wood parts. This is gold!
It is taking me longer than anticipated, but you will love the results.
Rain delayed me a week, one big pine tree dropped over a power line, I had a drunk driver broadside my semi-truck, but other than that, life's good.
I hope that people realize that I love working with wood, and I have high hopes of really getting Rustic Woodworking off and running. That's why I am building a new shop.

Website Updates
I just took a bunch of pictures of the wood slices that I have available.
I am reducing the picture size to put on the web. Then I have to make a Pay Pal button. I'm trying the best I can...check back.......

Reset Blog
I just realized that I had some very old posts on here. I deleted them all. If you are interested in viewing the wood pellet stove broken tile hearth project, you can view on You Tube.
I apologize for not keeping up with custom orders right now. It is important for me to log some land in order to build a new workshop so that I can continue working throughout the winter. Winter comes early in Minnesota. I have totally outgrown my old garage, and need to move my machines and tools into the new workshop.
I tried to use Twitter here, but they seem to go down a lot, and I always seem to need to say more than 150 words anyway, so I'll do this blog. Check back later.
